Terms of Service

Effective October 17, 2026

These terms are an agreement between TODO: company legal name ("we", "us") and the company that creates a Gridmaps Property Management System account ("you", the "Customer"). They cover the PPW website, the PPW Mobile app and the PPW API (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms. If you accept them for a company, you confirm that you are authorized to bind it.

1. The Service

PPW is work order management software for property preservation companies: work orders, properties, photos, bids, invoices, reports and the people who work on them. We may improve, change or remove features over time. Features marked as beta or preview are offered as they are and may change or end without notice.

2. Accounts and users

  • The person who signs up becomes the first administrator of your company account.
  • Your administrators decide who else gets access, such as office staff, contractors and clients, and what each of them can see and do. You are responsible for everything done under your account's logins.
  • Keep passwords private and tell us promptly at hello@gridmaps.tech if you believe a login has been misused.
  • The Service is for businesses. Users must be at least 18 years old.

3. Your data

Everything you and your users put into the Service, including work orders, property details, photos, documents, notes, invoices and messages, is your data ("Customer Data"). You own it. You give us permission to store, process, copy and display Customer Data only as needed to run, secure, support and improve the Service for you, and as the law requires.

You are responsible for having the right to upload Customer Data, including photos of properties and any personal information about homeowners, occupants, clients or contractors, and for using it lawfully. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

If you connect the Service to another company's system (for example a client portal or other PPW companies through PPW Link), you tell us to exchange data with it on your behalf. That system's own terms apply to it, and we are not responsible for it.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • break the law, or upload content you have no right to share;
  • try to reach data of another company, or get around access controls or usage limits;
  • upload malware, or disrupt, overload or attack the Service;
  • copy, resell or reverse engineer the Service, except where the law allows it;
  • use the Service to send spam or unlawful messages.

We may suspend access that puts the Service, our customers or the public at risk, and will tell you why.

5. Fees

Fees, if any, are those in your plan or order with us. We will give you at least 30 days' notice before we change them. Unless your order says otherwise, fees are not refundable and do not include taxes.

6. Availability and support

We work to keep the Service available and your data safe, including daily backups, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may need planned maintenance, and we will try to schedule it outside your working hours. Support is available at hello@gridmaps.tech.

7. Ending the agreement

You can stop using the Service at any time by asking us to close your account. We may end these terms with 30 days' notice, or immediately if you seriously breach them. After your account closes, you have 30 days to ask us for an export of your Customer Data. We then delete it, except for copies in our rolling backups, which expire on their own, and records the law requires us to keep.

8. Our property

The Service, its software and its design belong to us and our licensors. These terms give you the right to use the Service while your account is active, not ownership of it. If you send us feedback, we may use it freely.

9. Disclaimers

Apart from what these terms expressly promise, the Service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we make no other warranties, including that the Service is fit for a particular purpose. You remain responsible for the work you perform, the invoices and bids you send, and checking what the Service calculates or imports.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, neither side is liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost business. Our total liability under these terms is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. These limits do not apply to fraud or to liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Indemnity

You will defend us against claims from third parties that arise from Customer Data or from your breach of section 4, and cover the resulting costs that a court awards or that you agree to in a settlement.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will tell your administrators by email or in the Service at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the new terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of TODO: governing law, and its courts settle any dispute that cannot be resolved by talking to us first.
